Hull, The Town

This section of Hull is called Old Town, so the buildings look like they do in the movies.

This is one of the most iconic things in Hull. You can see it far off in the distance.

This section of the marina has blue water for some reason. My guess is they dye it. I believe the building above it is an office space.

Scotland, The Highlands

We stopped here on our way from Glencoe to Glasgow. We waited 15 minutes for it to stop pouring rain, but it was well worth it.

Scotland's third largest export is seafood! As a part of our tour, we went to see Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland!

Before I left Glasgow, I stopped at Smile Cafe and got an Italian breakfast of a vanilla letter and a bacon and egg sandwich. It was the perfect way to start my day!

Hull, The Ferens Art Gallary

This was one of the largest pieces in the gallery. I think of everything we saw, this was my favorite.

This was the one piece that didn't seem to fit in because it was neon. Obviously, it must be included in the photo gallery.

Hull, Trinity Minster

Trinity Church is a staple in Hull. It was built in 1400's and still holds services in it today.

The ceiling in the church is really beautiful. To the left is a center where volunteers sit to help people with directions, collect donations, or tell them more info!

In a seperate part of the church, there are different patterns on the ceiling. In this area, there were flowers and notes left out for the Queen.

Italy, Streets & St. Peter's Basilica

Walking from St. Peter's Basilica to the Colosseum we passed by this building.

St. Peter's Basilica is one of the biggest, most beautiful Basilica's I've seen - especially the ceilings.

Denmark, Castles

This picture is one of my favorites that I took in Copenhagen.

It's funny, I worry about have to parallel park my car and people in Copenhagen are parallel parking their boats.

This is about 2 PM in Denmark. Normally there would be some more lights, but there is an energy crisis.

This picture is one of my favorites that I took in Copenhagen.

I took British Lit. when I was 17, and we talked about Hamlet a lot. Coming to the castle was a lot of fun.

King Eric VII was adamant about wanting the roof of Kronborg to be green, so to speed up the process of turning the iron green, he had his soldiers pee on it.

Angels were all around the castle (it also has a church, check out the other slideshow) but these angels were my favorite.

Denmark, Churches

Roskilde Church has been around since the 1000s. Only the Queen can enter through the front doors of the church. Everyone else enters from over here.

These doors are where the Queen enters.

I love that the church has a hint of pink in it, I think it's absolutely beautiful.

Denmark & Sweden, Views & Churches

You can take a ferry from Denmark to Sweden and it takes about 20 minutes. For a bit, you're in international waters.

You can see the Kronborg castle in the background.

This is the bridge we took back to Denmark, because it connects the two countries.

Italy, Capitoline Museum

The Capitoline Museum is made up of three, castle-like structures at the top of a hill.

This statue is to commemorate the legend of the creation of Rome.

The decorations outside of a restaurant Cam and I passed coming back from the museum.

Vatican City, Views & Castel Sant'Angelo

St. Peter's Square is alleged to be one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. Cam and I would have to agree.

Because Vatican City it's a country housed in Rome, these are the international waters that Cam and I had to pass to enter.

Though the fountain is the center point of the square, there was a Christmas tree up for the holiday season.

Vatican City, Vatican Museum

The Vatican Museum from a distance.

There was a large display of art from throughout history at the Vatican Museum, this is just some of my favorites from it.

Though there was a lot of art, there weren't many artifacts.

This was Cam's first time flying RyanAir, and it was hilarious to witness.

Our first view of Rome!

Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of this building either. I do know it's by the lobster statue.

Our first day in London, we went to see Tower Bridge. Here's our view when we walked up to it.

The upper part of Tower Bridge is made of glass, so you have a lovely view of London.

While on a Jack the Ripper tour we saw a white chapel in the Whitechapel district (but not THE white chapel that the district was named after).

London, the Experience

Cam and I met my family at the arrival gate in the airport. This was the first time I had seen my family since September.

Cam and I arrived at the terminal early to make sure we didn't miss them.

After eating, we went to discover a bit of the area and found this bridge that lifts straight up.

A nice man offered to take our picture in front of the fountain. It was much less busy the second time we went around 10PM.

The second time we went to the fountain, we were able to get much closer than the first time.

The Pantheon had lots of beautiful marble work and statues around the room.

We took a tour of Montmartre, and ended at this beautiful church on the top of a hill. The line to get in was incredibly long, so we admired from afar.

In Montmartre, there is the famous I Love You wall, which Cam and I made sure to get a picture in front of.

France, The Experience

Pretty much everywhere you go in France, you can order champagne.

The Airbnb in France was one of the coolest places I've stayed.

America gave France this statue 100 years after France gave America the Statue of Liberty as a thank you.

When riding to Positano, we stopped at a viewing area where you could see this iconic view.

The sun set earlier in the day because it was December. Everything went from being painted golden, to orange, to red and black. It was beautiful.

Hull, The Experience

By the marina and Minster, there's Hull's Old Town. The streets are cobblestone and everything looks like it came out of a fairy tale.

When I was in York, I bought a new board game for my family. We had the chance to play in Hull.

We also had the chance to go to the Yorkshire museum, which is home to a lot of things found near and in Hull.

Fun fact: fries are actually Belgian - not French. Americans discovered fries in Belgium close to the French boarder, hence the incorrectly named "French Fries".

One of the spots we were shown in Bruges was an old fish market. Now, other vendors set up to sell things throughout the week.

This is one of the medieval cathedrals located in Ghent. Belgian royalty had this cathedral built to worship in.

Students at a university in Ghent built this art piece that's supposed to be a barn. When this was built, Ghent lost its UNESCO credentials.
